Printing

Prepare to Print
Before being able to print with JayPrint, you will need to download the item you wish to print. Save the file to a location on your computer that you remember. Once you have your item saved, jump to the directions for JayPrint to upload your document to the JayPrint Server and release for printing.

Upload (v.): To transfer (data, etc.) from one computer or device to another (esp. to one that is larger or remote from the user, or is functioning as a server). (Oxford English Dictionary, Oxford UP, June 2025, https://doi.org/10.1093/OED/1190225736

JayPrint

Print Station

  1. Visit jayprint.washjeff.edu
  2. Login with your W&J username and password (WITHOUT @washjeff.edu)
  3. Click the upload button and select the document(s) to print
  4. Visit the JayPrint Station
  5. Swipe your JayCard (W&J ID) or tap your device where your card is connected
  6. On the printer’s LCD Touch Screen, select one of the two options
    • Review Documents to individually select the material that you want to print
      • Select the individual documents
      • Press Print
    • Print All to print all the material that you uploaded
      • All material will print after selecting Print All
  7. Make sure to press Sign Out on the printer screen

  1. Download the Pharos Print app for your device

  1. When opening the app for the first time, you will be prompted to enter a ‘server’ and ‘port’. Use the following information
    • Server – wjprintcenter.washjeff.edu
    • Port – 443
  2. After inputting the server and port information, you will be prompted to login with your W&J username and password (WITHOUT the @washjeff.edu)
  3. After logging in, you should be brought to the home page where you can upload documents for printing.
  4. Follow steps 4-7 of the Print Station directions above to print the items.
