Thank you for interest in donating to the Clark Family Library. Friends of the library can make financial or physical donations to the library.
Financial donations to the library can be made through the Office of Development & Alumni Engagement. Monetary donations to the college are typically received through the Memorial Book Fund. Donations to this fund support the library's collection development efforts and if the donor chooses, a bookplate can be added to the item honoring or memorializing a loved one. If you wish to contribute to the Memorial Book Fund, visit JayConnected and follow these instructions to direct your contribution to the Memorial Book Fund.
Donors wishing to contribute physical materials to the library's circulating collection should contact the library staff prior to bringing any materials to the library. This conversation can start by calling the library (724-223-6070) or emailing asklib@washjeff.edu. We will consider donations of materials in good physical condition that are relevant to the college curriculum. We will not accept items that have been exposed to mold, mildew, or other harmful materials, textbooks, magazines, or outdated media. Once donated, items become property of the library. The library cannot assign a dollar value to any donation. If the donor wants an appraisal of their donation they should do so before donating their items.
If you are interested in donating to the Learned T. Bulman Archives & Museum, please contact the College Archivist, Sinead Bligh, via email at sbligh@washjeff.edu.
Additional questions about donations to the Library can be directed to the Library Director, Ronalee Ciocco, via email at rciocco@washjeff.edu, or the Office of Development & Alumni Engagement.
