Course Sites are created at the beginning of each semester within W&J's learning management system (LMS), Sakai, and enrollment into these Sites is managed by way of an automated process.
In Sakai, faculty have the ability to upload and share file resources such as .pdf reading materials, administer online assessments (Tests & Quizzes), create and moderate discussion forums, release announcements or send private messages to students, distribute and collect assignments, and manage ongoing course grades, in addition to a number of other features which can be enabled throughout individual Course Sites.
For other instructional materials related to Sakai, click on the button, located throughout individual Sakai pages, or visit the Sakai User Guide here, which contains over 475 different informational and instructional pages dedicated to answering frequently asked questions and providing clear information about each of Sakai’s available features.
