Criteria for Evaluating Information

While the criteria on the left side of this chart are important factors for evaluating information, don't treat the rest of this chart like green light (go), yellow light (go with caution or slow down to prepare to stop), and red light (stop/don't go), especially for a project like this one where you may start with more popular sources (sources created by anyone for a general audience) and then track down the more scholarly information (sources created by experts for experts) that those popular sources used.
