FYS 199-01 Pushing to Limit, (Dunn) Fall 2023: Assignment

Research Project:

We have talked about different people this semester that demonstrate characteristics that Duckworth would refer to as grit.  You need to pick a person that we have not talked about in class this semester and research the following topics/answer the following questions:

1. Explain the background and main accomplishments of the person.
2. How have they demonstrated that they have a high level of grit?
3. What life experiences helped them develop grit?   

Create a podcast episode answering the above questions.  Both group members must have an equal role in the podcast.  The podcast must be at least 8 minutes in length.
