Evaluating Web Sources

When evaluating information from online sources it is important to practice the same skills fact-checkers use. This video from Eastern Kentucky University Library explains the SIFT method for evaluating online information. Remember to stop, investigate the source, find better coverage, and trace any claims back to their original source. This will require leaving the site you are on and opening multiple tabs but it will help verify if this is information you should share.
