Accessing Books

Stack of booksOur library provides access to hundreds of thousands of books both physical copies in our library and ebooks that are accessible through our website. Ebooks can be accessed 24/7 through the library's website. Physical books can be requested through our discovery service and picked up in the library.

Fall 2020 is going to provide some unique challenges when it comes to accessing physical materials in the library so if you have questions or need something specific please use the chat service on the library website to talk to a library staff member.

You can search for books in the library's Discovery search tool by using the limiters on the left side of the page to "Limit by Source Type" and then selecting Books or ebooks.

Ebook Databases

Library eBooks are available to read online, and most allow downloading and printing of individual chapters.

Downloading may require the use of the free ebook reading software, Adobe Digital Editions. Download the program here.

Search for specific titles or by keyword using Discover and limit your search to ebooks or search directly in any of  our ebook databases.

Print Books and DVDs

For the Fall semester access to the library will be limited and that will affect student's ability to browse the stacks on the lower level. Please use our Discovery service to locate items and place requests for them. You will have the option for no or low contact pickup of these items in the library. Watch the video below for information on how to manage your library account.
